Risk Severity
Risks are evaluated for their impact on the systems and data they access. Each detection is uniquely scored to determine its individual risk impact based on how it impacts:
- Confidentiality: how much and how significant of data is exposed
- Integrity: how much and how significant of data is corrupted
- Availability: what level of system/service interruption is possible
- Accountability: is the risk traceable or completely anonymous
Privilege Context
Spektion continuously evaluates the privilege level of monitored software throughout execution. Risks identified within software operating with an elevated/privileged context increase their impact. Spektion denotes these risks with the shield (
) icon and modifies their risks as applicable.
